Sarah Palin expected to go Full Retard on Thursday's Debate

The Sarah Palin/Katie Couric interview should leave no doubt in the minds of Americans that this woman a heart beat away from the presidency is incompetent and unfit to led. To her credit she has yet to go full retard keeping to "lukewarm retard" but have no doubt she will be in full retard mode on Thursday.

Transcript excerpts:

Couric : You’ve cited Alaska’s proximity to Russia as part of your foreign policy experience. What did you mean by that?

Sarah Palin :
That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and, on our other side, the land-boundary that we have with Canada. It’s funny that a comment like that was kinda made to … I don’t know, you know … reporters.

Couric : Well, explain to me why that enhances your foreign-policy credentials.

Palin :
Well, it certainly does, because our, our next-door neighbors are foreign countries, there in the state that I am the executive of. And there…

Couric : You don’t think the United States is within its rights to express its position to Israel? And if that means second-guessing or discussing an option?

Palin :
No, abso … we need to express our rights and our concerns and …

Couric: But you said never second guess them.

Palin :
We don’t have to second-guess what their efforts would be if they believe … that it is in their country and their allies, including us, all of our best interests to fight against a regime, especially Iran, who would seek to wipe them off the face of the earth. It is obvious to me who the good guys are in this one and who the bad guys are. The bad guys are the ones who say Israel is a stinking corpse and should be wiped off the face of the earth. That’s not a good guy who is saying that. Now, one who would seek to protect the good guys in this, the leaders of Israel and her friends, her allies, including the United States, in my world, those are the good guys.

glad you posted the clip from tropic. i saw it, this scene seemed a bit much. either way, i got a laugh thinking about wdj's portrayal. he was excellent

"go Full Retard" is exactly why Obama is going to lose this election.
A statement like that only shows how incompetent you & Obama followers are!

@SH the comment "full retard" should offend you as much as Mrs. Palin incompetence offends me. If this is the woman you want to very likely lead the country then by all means this is a free country cast your vote for the Palin/McCain ticket.

Using "retard" for the mother of a Down's baby does suggest a case of tin ear.

In any event, they won't be able to edit her answers in the debate, so I feel confident that you will be disappointed.

Phelps if I am not mistaken I thought you were the one big on reading transcripts. There is nothing more painful than the CBS transcript; it actually reads worse than her TV response.

I am sure the McCain camp is going to get a copy of the debate questions early so that she can practice and practice so she doesn't have to resort to sticking her finger in her mouth and waving it around to fill space.

BTW, as an example (again) of what I mean, look at the full answer that your excerpt doesn't contain:

Couric: You've cited Alaska's proximity to Russia as part of your foreign policy experience. What did you mean by that?

Sarah Palin: That Alaska has a very narrow maritime border between a foreign country, Russia, and, on our other side, the land-boundary that we have with Canada. It's funny that a comment like that was kinda made to … I don't know, you know … reporters.

Couric: Mocked?

Palin: Yeah, mocked, I guess that's the word, yeah.

Couric: Well, explain to me why that enhances your foreign-policy credentials.

Palin: Well, it certainly does, because our, our next-door neighbors are foreign countries, there in the state that I am the executive of. And there…

Couric: Have you ever been involved in any negotiations, for example, with the Russians?

Palin: We have trade missions back and forth, we do. It's very important when you consider even national security issues with Russia. As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border. It is from Alaska that we send those out to make sure that an eye is being kept on this very powerful nation, Russia, because they are right there, they are right next to our state.

. . .

It's also funny to me that people have mocked this, with, "oh, yeah, Putin's going to send bombers to Alaska, right." To me, this marks them as idiots, since he has already done it, on Palin's watch, and she would have certainly been briefed on it.

Damn man read that out loud! I understand what she is trying to say but she is doing a piss poor job of letting Americans and the rest of World LEADERS know that she is going to be a force to be reckon with.

OBTW Phelps if they are so close in promixity I think its safe to say that the Russians and the US are going to enroach in each others airspace. We do this to so don't ack like we don't.
